Boherbue deserved their success, refusing to be ruffled after Dromtariffe snatched the initiative in the opening half. When the questions were posed, Boherbue held the answers on a second half take over to outscore their opponents 1-9 to 0-4, good enough to claim a first time five in a row of titles by any club.

TURNING POINT

Boherbue were forced to battle their way through a thorny patch, Dromtariffe making life difficult on leading by five points into 1st half injury time. However Boherbue hauled themselves right back into contention with a 1-1 tally, that burst set the tone for the restart where Boherbue spelt out their intent.

MAIN MAN

Essentially a team victory with a number of stand out performances, Boherbue owed much to the brilliance of Jerry O’Connor and his 1-8 tally proved it. Ever consistent in attack over the extended hour, his goal on the stroke of half time calipulted Boherbue right back into contention.
