AN EXCITING weekend looks to be in store at the Newmarket Summer Festival, with the action kicking off tomorrow (July 6) from 9pm.

The Hi-Street Bar hosts a ‘90s disco, with the Rock Bar home to ‘Shades of Country’.

From 9pm on Saturday, there will also be plenty of interest.

TD’s hosts live music, while The Rock Bar will be home to ‘Culchie goes Kool’.

There will also be music at Hi-Street Bar, with Scanlon’s Bar hosting ‘Devil’s Bit’.

It’s on then to Safari’s, with the Festival Nightclub Party from 11pm. This is an over-18s event only.

Then, on Sunday, July 8, there will be more music from 9pm.

The Rock Bar will host Glenside Folk, with The Ferryman performing at the Hi-Street Bar.

The night will then close in suitably spectacular fashion at the West End from 11pm, with what is sure to be a memorable fireworks display. It all looks set to be a cracker.
