Bruach na Carraige’s upcoming events

THE Bruach Na Carraige summer camp for children between six and 15 years runs from the July 23 to August 3. Children attending this camp who have not played music before will learn a few tunes on the whistle, and those already playing will learn some new tunes.

They will learn some traditional songs and four or five céilí dances, all mixed with much fun and games.

The Sliabh Luachra summer school will run from August 8 to 10, with advanced music classes and an emphasis on music from manuscripts of an older layer of Sliabh Luachra music, some dating back beyond 1850.
