It extends a plea to all to co-operate in maintaining litter-free streets.
Overall, the enthusiastic Millstreet Association are appealing to all business and householders to maintain their premises to a high standard.
Millstreet is again playing an active part in the Cork County Council-promoted Litter challenge, which bids to enhance the environment.
The objectives of the competition are to reduce litter pollution and to encourage community involvement in the solutions to litter.
Over the years, Millstreet has made a sustained effort to tackle such issues, especially litter and cigarette butts.
Everybody can play a part in, firstly, preventing litter or, secondly, volunteering one hour per week to Millstreet Tidy Towns.
