Summer outing is on the horizon

NEWMARKET’S Annual Summer Outing takes place on Sunday, July 22.

First stop will be at Castle Hotel in Macroom for tea and scones.

It’s onwards, then, to beautiful Gougane Barra for visit to church and grounds.

Lunch will be served at Maritime Hotel in Bantry, and then it’s on road again for some retail therapy at the Riverside Shopping Center in Bandon.

They will return to Castle Hotel in Macroom for dinner.

It will be a jam-packed day for both young and not so young, and all are welcome.

In terms of times, buses will leave Meelin at 9.30am, Newmarket at 9.45am and Kanturk at 10 am.
