GAA CHAMPIONSHIP

Duhallow champions Boherbue travel to Rathcoole on this Thursday evening, August 2, where they play Lyre in the Junior A Football Championship semi-final at 7.30 p.m.

This will be a big test for the home side, as Lyre, who are also involved in hurling, are very fit and eager with excellent ball control. Over the years there has been little between these two teams and this Thursdays encounter won’t be any different.

Simply, because they hold the championship title, Boherbue will start as favourites but as soon as the ball is thrown in till the final whistle is where its won and lost. Best of luck, everyone.
