Ballygiblin fall to city opposition
BALLYGIBLIN Junior A hurlers lost out to Brian Dillons in the County Junior A Hurling Championship opening round at Rathcormac on Sunday. Ballygiblin did well in the opening half to lead 0-11 to 0-8 at the break.
Brian Dillons fought back to be level, 0-11 each. The city side had two goals, which gave them a big lead. In the end they ran out victors by 2-20 to 0-16.

Meanwhile St Dominic’s had a very easy win over Doneraile in the Under-14 B Football Championship semi-final at Killavullen on Thursday evening. The final score was 5-6 to 0-0. St Dominic’s now meet Croke Rovers in the final.
