Dromtariffe pull away from Peters

DROMTARIFFE ground out an impressive win over a battling St. Peters in the Ballyhass Lakes Rebel Óg North Cork U-14 B2 Football Championship Final played in Boherbue.

A spell of second half dominance allowed the victors to grab control of the proceedings and pull away for a decisive win. Little separated the sides in the opening spell, Dromtariffe shading matters to lead 1-2 to 0-2 at the break.

However a St. Peters goal on the restart altered the scoreboard only for St. Peters to buckle down to their task in the inclement conditions. Crucially for Dromtariffe, the input of Darragh Murphy, Jamie Kelleher, Andrew Healy, Louis Hanover and James O’Sullivan told and a run of scores confirmed their supremacy.
