TIDY TOWNS

Kiskeam Developmen­t Associatio­n wishes to thank everyone for their help and assistance in ensuring that they were winners of a Commended Award in this year’s Tidy Towns competitio­n.

Eight marks were gained from last year which is a great achievemen­t and they are looking forward to next year’s judging and your continued support in this area.

GROW

Grow is a 12-step group for people living with any form of stress, worry, anxiety or depression in their lives. Meetings are held every Monday 8p.m. at the Duhallow Resource Centre in Kanturk. These meetings are free to attend, totally confidenti­al and no introducti­on are required. Just come along – you will get a warm welcome. The group held a church gate collection before all Masses in Boherbue and Kiskeam this weekend.

Cullen Community Centre will be full of glamour and style on Friday night next for a fashion show which gets under way at 7.30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to go along and view a wide range of both ladies and gents clothing.
