Duhallow clubs look ahead to Scór activity

THE AGM of Duhallow Scór takes place on Tuesday, October 30 in the Pearse Memorial Hall, Boherbue at 8.30pm.

At the helm of the Duhallow Scór Group for the past year were Chairman Liam Buckley(Dromtariffe); Vice Chairman, Tony McAulliffe(Limire), Secretary Julie O’Connor ( Lismire), Asst Secretary, Tina Dunstan(Boherbue); Joint Treasurers Phil Guiney(Newmarket) and Jerome Casey (Boherbue), PRO Margaret Herlihy(Boherbue) and Development Officer James Lenihan (Millstreet).

The Kanturk Credit Union Duhallow Scór na nÓg Final goes ahead on Friday, November 16 in the Edel Quinn Hall, Kanturk at 7.30pm.

Competitors must be under 17 years of age on January 1st, 2019 with the extensive schedule focusing on figure/set dancing, solo singing, recitation, novelty act, instrumental music and ballad groups.

Looking ahead, national school kids interested in swinging to the tune of polkas, preparing sketches to singing and reciting are catered in Scór na bpaistí that operates early in the new year. Entries can be forwarded to Duhallow Scór Secretary Julie O’Connor.
