Sheila O’Donnell

The death occurred on October 19 at Cork University Hospital of Sheila O’Donnell, Kilrush Road, Ennis, and formerly of Pollardsto­wn, Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Sheila (née Casey) was predecease­d by her husband, Dick, and her brothers, John and Willie Casey.

There was a large and represente­d attendance at the removal on Sunday evening from O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home Kilbehenny to the nearby Church.

The same could be said of the Requiem Mass and burial on Monday.

Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery in Mitchelsto­wn.

To her sister, Kit (Molan); sisters-in-law, Nellie (Casey) and Cecily (Murphy); nieces; nephews; grandniece­s; grandnephe­ws; all at Abbeylande­s Nursing Home Kildorrery; relatives; neighbours; and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Peg Coughlan

The death occurred on October 17 of Peg Coughlan, Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery.

The late Peg (née O’Donoghue) was of Bawnard, Ballindang­an, and formerly of Pollardsto­wn, Mitchelsto­wn.

She was a member of a wellknown and highly respected family in the area.

She was predecease­d by her husband Arthur.

Her popularity was borne out in the large and represente­d attendance at the removal on Friday evening from Abbeylands Nursing Home to Ballindang­an Church.

This was also the case at the Requiem Mass and burial on Saturday.

Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.

To her son, John; daughters, Kathleen (McGrath), Mary Margaret (Twohig), and Eilish (Twohig); daughter-in-law ,Margaret (née Frewen); sonsin-law, Paddy, Tom, and Frank; grandchild­ren; great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Philly O’Donoghue; nieces; nephews; relatives; neighbours; and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
