Rebel Óg win for Keale

THE Mill­street and Dromtariffe com­bi­na­tion, Keale Gaels, col­lected a re­ward­ing Rebel Óg County Mi­nor B1 Hurling ti­tle on de­feat­ing Kilbrit­tain in Ovens last Satur­day. Op­er­at­ing with a fury and in­ten­sity that even­tu­ally wore down the West Cork side, Keale Gaels emerged wor­thy win­ners of a com­pet­i­tive en­counter.

Keale Gaels fielded as Daniel Hart­net,; Ai­dan Mur­phy, Ray Daly, David O’Dono­van, Luke O’Donoghue, Conor O’Cal­laghan, Dar­ragh Cash­man, Neil Flahive, Kil­lian O’Sul­li­van, Brandon Mur­phy, Tomás Howard, Gerry O’Sul­li­van, Donal Shee­han, Dy­lan Kelle­her, Eoin Shee­han, Michael Shee­han, An­drew Smith, Evan Mur­phy, Luke Mur­phy, Barry Mur­phy, Dy­lan Shee­han, Don­agh Mur­phy, Pa­trick Cronin, Dar­ragh O’Leary.

The team man­age­ment com­prised of Don Twomey, John Hart­nett and Dar­ragh Crow­ley and was as­sisted by John Daly and Bren­dan Mur­phy.

Mean­while Duar­igle Gaels, the Cullen and Mill­street line up, face up to Charleville in the County Un­der-21 B Foot­ball Cham­pi­onship Fi­nal at Pairc Uí Rinn on Sun­day with a 1.30pm throw in. Duar­igle re­quired ex­tra time to over­come O’Dono­van Rossa in the semi-fi­nal, and they will need to be at their best to thwart a Charleville out­fit that have en­joyed un­prece­dented suc­cess in both foot­ball and hurling this sea­son.
