COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Kilshannig under-14 footballers are County Champions after a fantastic win against a truly gallant Ballinora team in Donaghamore last Sunday. This game was played in front of a huge crowd and it was inspiring to see the amount of Kilshannig flags and colour on display as our boys took to the field.

Ballinora settled quickly and had three wides before pointing on the 12th minute. However, our boys settled into the game and had our opening point from Seán O’Connell before a well worked move up the field resulted in a fantastic goal for Alex O’Leary. Another point for Alex and a further two points from Ballinora gave us a two point half time lead.
