Corkery Alucast Enterprise Ltd
Corkery Alucast Enterprise Ltd was started in 1992 by John and Helena Corkery, initially doing fascia, soffit and gutters under the name Alufit.
In 2004 John founded a company called Alucast to cater for the rapidly expanding markets in cast iron and cast aluminium rainwater systems. Now, both companies operate under the Alucast name. They now supply and fit PVC, cast iron and cast aluminium fasia, soffit and gutters.
In 2008 they expanded their range to include Aqua-flo, Aqua-BX, pressed aluminium, fascia and soffit and gutter range, and along the way have even. Developed a clip system that is unique to Alucast
In 2010 Alucast moved into a purposely built 20,000 sq ft manufacturing plant in Kanturk and they are constantly investing in their product range. “We now carry the largest range in Ireland of aluminium and cast iron gutters, downpipes and hoppers,” says John.
They have built the company name by endeavouring to make it the best company in their field, and offering the very best service to customers. “We have a long list of builders and suppliers around the country and we have managed to maintain great business relationships that have worked in all our favours down the years,” says John.
With over 25 years experience, and now with 15 staff, Alucast offers a full design, supply and fitting service of rainwater systems for business or residential. Alucast is an National Safety Authority of Ireland approved member and is a listed contractor with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
FIVE STEPS AHEAD OF THE COMPETITION
Going forward, Alucast aims to be the No.1 supplier of cast aluminium products in the country. John intends to continually progress and develop the company – and “stay five steps ahead of the competition”.
“Our emphasis is on delivering and Irish quality product and we are one of the only PVC/ aluminium gutter companies in Ireland to have ISO 9001/2015 certification,” says John.
