Work in the alley has progressed further with the new back glass wall fitted on Friday last plus other renovations all of which will help to make it more comfortable for players and spectators alike. Huge credit due to this small committee whose work rate has to be complimented and admired.
THE PARTY
The American Tea Party organised by the local Girl Guides committee attracted a full house to the Pearse Memorial Hall and can only be described as a huge success, a great evening of food, singing and dancing where there were some stylish movements on the dance floor which would put ‘strictly’ in the shade. The organisers wish to thank all those who supported this fundraiser and Fiona from Anne’s Kitchen for a selection of food that really wet the appetite.
