Mick Galwey to speak at Mallow seminar
THE former Munster and Ireland rugby giant and now motivational guru Mick Galwey will be among the guest speakers at a seminar event taking place in Mallow next Wednesday morning.
Organised by the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Cork North and West, the event will take place at the Mallow GAA Complex, Carrigoon from 8am to 10am.
It will kick off with a presentation by LEO head of enterprise Kevin Curran, who will speak about the various supports available to businesses across the north Cork region through his organisation.
Following this, Mick Galwey will deliver his presentation entitled ‘Lessons From My Life and Some Useful Tips for Achieving Success’, which promises to offer a fascinating insight into his life and career both on and off the rugby pitch.
Liam O’Sullivan, the founder and CEO of Irish Roll Forming will also speak at the evening, delivering a talk entitled ‘Building a Business in North Cork – The Success of a Local Firm’.
Attendees will also be invited to take part in a speed networking initiative facilitated by Theresa Mulvihill and the event will draw to a conclusion with a question and answer session.
Mr Curran said the event would offer people an excellent opportunity to learn from the experiences of proven leaders within the motivational speaking and business sectors.
“Participants will receive the necessary motivation to set and achieve goals and improve their businesses in 2019,” he said.
“Just as importantly, it will underscore the importance of networking, how it is an essential pillar of enterprise and the staring point for many successful business relationships,” he added.
