ALL roads lead to Safaris, The Hiland, Newmarket, on Saturday, December 15, when Aslan will bring their ‘Feel No Shame’ 30th anniversary tour

Since Aslan released their demo single, ‘ This Is’, the band has been a huge success. Their debut album, ‘Feel No Shame’ shot straight to number one on the Irish Charts, and within a couple of months it was certified gold.

‘Crazy World’, became one of the most played songs on Irish Radio, winning ‘Single of The Year’ in the Hot Press Awards.

When Aslan released the album, ‘Here Comes Lucy Jones’ , they were nominated in seven categories of the 1997 Hot Press readers’ poll.

‘Shame About Lucy Moonhead’, a compilation of the best of Aslan’s recorded work on EMI, shot into the Irish albums charts at number one and turned double platinum.

Aslan consistently toured in Ireland, with the Hiland, Newmarket among the highlights of this voyaging, as often stated by lead singer Christy Dignam, quoting it as One of his favourite places to play.

“It’s one of my favourite places to play; I love the Hiland”, Christy said.

Aslan has often played sellout shows in Ireland, with the gig in Safaris, The Hiland, predicted to be another one. You can get your tickets fast on www.ticketmaster.ie and www. ticketweb.ie.
