EVELYN LAWLOR (nèe Feehan) R.I.P.

THE death took place on Friday, October 26 of Evelyn Lawlor (nèe Feehan) at Nazareth House.

Formerly of Blackwater Drive, Evelyn is predecease­d by her husband, Michael, and brother Donal and survived by her brother Denis, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Monday, October 29 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

ELIZABETH KENNEALLY (nèe O’Connor) R.I.P.

THE death took place at Cork University Hospital on Monday, November 5 of Elizabeth (Betty) Kenneally (nèe O’Connor).

From a well known family and formerly of Glantane and Croke Place, Elizabeth is predecease­d by her husband Sean, son David and brother Tom and is survived by her sons John and Patrick, daughters Marie, Ann , Eleanor, Shirley and Catherine, brother Dan Joe, sisters Kathleen and Chrissie, relatives, neighbours and friends.Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Thursday, November 8 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

THE death took place on Tuesday, November 6 of Sr. Cecilia McAuliffe at Bridhaven Nursing Home.

A member of the Sisters of Mercy Community in Mallow and formerly of Sisters Of Mercy, Charlevill­e, Sr. Cecilia is predecease­d by her brothers Fr. Patrick, Denis and Gerald and sister Lil (Mortell) and survived by her brother Tom, Mercy Community, relations and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 11.30am on Friday, November 9 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

MARY MANNIX (nèe Nagle) R.I.P.

THE death took place at Cork University Hospital on Sunday, November 11 of Mary (Mamie) Mannix.

From Hollymount, Lachnalooh, Mary is predecease­d by her sister Eileen and brother Barry and survived by her husband Willie, brothers Noel and Mossie, sister Etta, relations and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 2pm on Wednesday, November 14 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

LYNDA HOLMES (nèe Sheehan) R.I.P.

THE death took place at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice Cork of Lynda Holmes (nèe Sheehan) on Sunday, November 11.

From Kilcanway, Killavulle­n, and formerly of Blackrock Park, Lynda is predecease­d by her parents Denis and Mary and survived by her husband Liam, son David, brothers, relations and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 11.30am on Wednesday, November 14 followed by Cremation at the Island Crematoriu­m Ringaskidd­y.
