BALLYROE Heights Hotel has once again emerged as Munster’s Top Rated Wedding Venue. They have been announced as winners of the much coveted annual WeddingDates Venue Awards in the following categories.

Top Rated Wedding Venue in Kerry Top Rated Wedding Venue in Munster This well known, family run hotel has held the title of Kerry’s Top Rated Wedding Venue consistently since the inauguration of these awards in 2011 and this is the fifth time the hotel has received the Top Rated Venue in Munster award.

WeddingDates, the go to platform for engaged couples and wedding businesses, recognise the top performing Wedding Venues, Suppliers and Wedding Coordinators throughout Ireland with their annual awards. With over 3,500 reviews submitted from happy couples during 2018, this year was more hotly contested than ever.

“From the bottom our hearts thank you to all of our wedding couples who have taken the time to write such fantastic reviews of their experience with us, and a huge thank you to our entire team here for their hard work and dedication, we couldn’t have achieved this without you all” Jonathan Collins – General Manager. A Christmas wedding is a little different as it’s a time of year when there’s no embargo when it comes to introducing all kinds of weird and wonderful colours. Colour, colour and plenty of it is the trick and Christmas allows you to blend colours like never before.

How? Traditional dark greens and reds are the colours that immediately spring to mind at Christmas. But why select colours that are everywhere? No, you want to be that little bit different which means shades of purple, silver, gold, and bronze, work great together. Intersperse these with plenty of creams and whites and you’ll be creating the kind of attractive colour scheme to brighten up a winter’s day - colours that you simply wouldn’t get away with any other time of year.

The embedded image we all have of Christmas is sparkle, multicolour and tinsel. One giant Christmas tree of the mind, basically! You might be wondering at this stage how such an array of colour can be incorporated. It’s simple: giant baubles hanging from ceilings, arches and doorways are a great way to splash colour everywhere. In fact, the hotel may already be one step ahead and have it done. Giant wreaths hanging off walls and halls is another great way to spread colour. Remember that a Christmas wedding is one that allows you to use colour in a way that doesn’t work as well in autumn, spring or summer. Why not avail of the opportunity and dazzle your guests in a way they’ll never forget.
