CAR PARK RESURFACING
The Car Park resurfacing project will begin this week. As there is a large area to be done, this project will be done in stages so as to minimise disruption to those who need to use the car park. This week the area near the Multiuse Sport area & Outdoor Gym will commence. It is hoped that this area, the area around the Heritage Centre, the area by the Playground and the area behind the hall will be completed by Christmas. The work on the main body of the Car Park will be done later in mid 2019.
This is a large project that will benefit everyone who uses the GAA facilities, Sports Areas, Playground, Heritage Centre, National School, Playschool and Community Hall. We are very grateful that we have obtained grant assistance from IRD, Cork Council, Clar, & Leader funding to allow us to fund a large portion of these costs. However we must part finance this project and so a large fundraiser will have to be done in Spring 2019. We are counting on your support and more details will follow nearer the time.
