Local lots up for grabs at first 2019 Bid X1 online

THE virtual hammer is set to come down on a number of inviting and potentiall­y lucrative lots from the north Cork area at the first Bid X1 online auction of residentia­l and commercial properties of the year.

Properties in Mallow, Kanturk, Fermoy and Churchtown will be among more than 250 lots that will be up for grabs over the course of the auction, which will take place over two days on February 20 & 21.

The first day of the auction will be devoted solely to residentia­l properties, with seven local lots included on the auction catalogue.

Four of these are in Mallow, the first being a first floor, two bedroom apartment at The Towers, Fairgreen. The apartment, which extends to approximat­ely 72 sq metres and is subject to a tenancy with a current rental income of €8,400, is up for auction with a reserve of €65,000.

A mid-terrace, three bedroom house at Sean Moylan Park will go under the Photo: @GardaTraff­ic hammer with a reserve of €110,000. The 67 sq metres houses, which has a rear garden, is subject to a tenancy with an annual rental income of €6,600.

A vacant, four bedroom, semi detached house at the Coise Tobair estate in Dromahane is included in the auction catalogue with a reserve of €120,000. The final property in the Mallow area, a vacant, detached five bedroom house at Lackaneen, Lombardsto­wn measuring 183 sq metres is listed as having a reserve of €124,000.

Also up for grabs on day one of the auction will be a vacant, semi detached, three bedroom house at Bruhenny, Churchtown with a reserve of €100,000.

A semi-detached, three bedroom house at Dun an Oir, Kanturk is listed as having a reserve of €110,000. The house, which has a rear garden and off street parking, is subject to an existing tenancy at a current rent of €6,600 per annum.

The final property of local interest on day one will be an end of terrace,
