ETB awards bonanza for Davis College
THE annual Cork ETB Awards took place in the Radisson Hotel in Little Island on Friday last, where Davis College students fared particularly well.
The awards recognise academic achievement across ETB schools and colleges in Cork City and County. Davis College was recognised for 13 awards this year.
Davis College had one of only four students to be presented with the Board Medal in recognition of achieving the maximum 625 points in the Leaving Certificate.
The awards are a very prestigious event and was attended by the Chairperson of Cork ETB, Mr. Patrick Gerard Murphy and Acting Chief Executive, Mr. John Fitzgibbons as well as Directors, Mr. Pat McKelvey, Ms. Suzanne Mullins and Ms. Sheila Quill.
The event was attended by family and friends of recipients as well as the respective Principals and Coordinators in each school.
