ST PIO MASS INLISMIRE TO TAKE PLACE NEXT WEDNESDAY

The monthly Mass in honour of St Padre Pio will be held in St Joseph’s Church, Lismire, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

GLENLARA SOCIAL AT GLASH COMMUNITY CENTRE

The Glenlara Social is set to take place on Saturday, February 9.

It will take place in Glash Community Centre at 7pm.

Tickets, at € 25, are on sale from any member until Tuesday, February 5.

CEREMONIES AT ST MARY’S CHURCH OVER THE COMING WEEKS

The blessing of the candles takes place during 10am Mass on Saturday, February 2. Please place your candles at the front of the Altar.

The Feast of St Blaise is on Sunday, February 3. The blessing of throats will take place after all weekend Masses.

A Mass of the Healing and Anointing of the sick will be held in St Mary’s Church on Monday, February 11, at 10am.

Babies Baptised in our parish during 2018 will also take place in St Mary’s Church on Sunday, February 17, at 11.30am.

BOHERBUE COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL ASSESSMENT TESTS

The assessment test for the incoming first- year students of 2019/ 2020 will take place in the library, Boherbue Comprehensive School.

This will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2019, between 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Students taking part should arrive at the school before 9.15am on the day of the tests.

All sixth- class students are very welcome.

GIRLS SCHOOL TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2019/ 20

The Newmarket Girls’ National School isnow taking bookings for the 2019/ 2020 school year.
