Mallow Credit Union annual national schools table quiz

THIRTY Nine tables consisting of over 150 national School pupils from across North Cork contested the Mallow Credit Union Annual Table Quiz which was staged at the Hibernian Hotel last Monday afternoon.

The questions were professionally delivered by quiz master supreme Andy Murphy. During the afternoon refreshments and snacks were available for the hard thinking youngsters as they battled for success.

There were two age sections in the quiz, which included Senior U/13 and Junior U/11.

The Senior category was won by Glantane NS with Baltydaniel NS winning second place, while in the Junior category Dromahane were triumphant with Analeentha NS taking second position.

All four teams now progress to the chapter level in the competition in March.
