Community Games heating up ahead of the Munster finals

MITCHELSTOWN Spikeball Club is inviting children and teenagers to spikeball training at the Leisure Centre Gymnasium on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4pm to 6pm

There will be athetics training on Fridays at 7pm in the Leisure Centre.

April 20 is the date for Munster team finals in basketball for under-11 mixed; under-13 boys; under-13 girls; under-16 boys; and under-16 girls.

The day is also set to host the duathlon marathon, under 16; cross-country for under-13 boys, girls, and mixed; distance relay for boys and girls at under 12 or under 14; gymnastics at under 9 to under 15; mini rugby for under 11s; table tennis (all boys or all girls) at under 13 or under 16; chess for under 13s or under 16s; draughts for under 10 to under 16; quiz; and under-14s group dance and modern disco (boys and girls mixed).
