GAA festivities this weekend for St Fanahans and Dominics
ST Fanahan’s Camogie Club will hold their 50th-anniversary celebrations.
This will take place on Saturday, February 9, in The Tavern on Lower Cork Street.
The club has been very competitive over the years.
They won two County Junior B league titles in 1988 and 1996.
Many of those involved over the years are expected to be present on the night, where slides will be shown.
It promises to be a great night and starts at 8.30pm.
In other local GAA news, Glanworth Ladies Football club is delighted to be invited to St Dominic’s upcoming victory social, which takes place this Friday, February 8, at 7pm in the Firgrove Hotel.
The victorious under-14 team will receive their North Cork Summer League medals on the night.
Tickets are available from club officers and at the door on the night.
All are welcome to attend what is set to be a spectacular event.
