First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 18.

Annual Cemetery Mass on Friday, June 14.

A special celebration Mass will take place in Boherbue Church on Friday, May 24 at 7.30pm to celebrate its golden jubilee.

This will be followed by light refreshments in the hall.

The ‘full house’ lights were flashing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights of last week when the local Comprehensive School students took to the stage with their presentation of the King of Pride Rock in the Pearse Memorial Hall.

This was a simply wonderful producation with the music, vocals and acting all of a very high standard.

School principal Vera Leader was the MC assisted in the raffle and door by the Parents Council.

There is huge credit due to these young people for the time and energy they put into this production. Well done and congrats.
