Aoibhinn Beatha an Scoláire anseo i Mala

-

Aoibhinn beatha an scoláire, Bhíos ag déanamh léinn. Is follás díbh, a dhaoine Gur do is aoibhne in Éirinn.

Tá saol aoibhinn cinnte ag daltaí Ghaelscoil Thomáis Dáibhís.

Pupils in the Gaelscoil look forward to another busy school year as they settled back to class in late August. We gave an especially warm welcome to all of our new ‘páistí’.

It reminds us of the old saying - ‘ learn as much as you can while you are young, since life becomes too busy later’. You’re off to great places. Today is your first day.

Cuirimís fáilte Uí Cheallaigh freisin roimh na muinteóirí nua - muinteóirí Fiona, Aileen agus Michelle.

We are very proud of our thriving school. Pupils enjoy and excel in all their curricular subjects and have the opportunity to take part in a plethora of other activities both in school and ‘ lasmuigh d’uaireanta scoile’. All varieties of sport, music and choir, drámaí, ceoldrámaí agus ceolchoirmeacha, participation in music events and competitions, science-based activities and robotics are all catered for.

The Green Schools Project takes pride of place, as children are encouraged to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers and the theme of recycling and energy conservation is also addressed.

We run a very successful homework club. Our club iar-scoile offers an after school care- service for pupils in the Infant classes.

Where would we be without our very active Parents Association - is ‘realtaí’ iad. Gabhaimid buíochas leo as a gcabhair agus a dtacaiocht.

There is so much more that one could say about Gaelscoil Thomáis Dáibhís - ach seo mar atá an an ocáid seo - d’fheadfaimís leabhar a scríobh faoin scoil.

Ní neart go cur le chéile. Táimid ag tabhairt aghaidh ar na mblianta atá romhainn le dóchas agus le grá in ár gcroithe dos na scoláirí agus don léann.

‘Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere’ (chinese proverb )
