Mountleader model toy show

-

MILLSTREET Vintage Club host their annual Model Toy Show at the spacious K and L Transport Depot in Mountleader on Sunday from 10.30am to 5pm.

On offer will be an array of models in addition to rally memorabilia and dioramas of diverse scenes.

Exhibitors from all over Ireland are expected to travel to the show.

Model Toy Shows are very popular and a great pastime for children and their elders, with farm machinery and farm presentations adding to the diversity.

The biggest remote-control display of the year will be on display, allowing kids to control driving skills by participating in a Remote Control Tractor Driving Challenge.

This aspect of the event will take place over a specially laid out course.

There will also be a Lego display and play area, and popular visitors will be Erome, Conall and Donagh from Glandore, who starred in the Late Late Toy Show last December.

The flourishing Millstreet Vintage Club continues to grow with upwards of 50 members actively involved according to spokesman Donie Lucey.

“Many of them have their own specific interest but for different stagings, everybody falls in to give a hand”, Mr Lucey said.

The show is always a great day out, and there is something there for everyone including a wide display of model cars, trucks, tractors, farm-setting layouts, remote-control cars, trucks, plant hire, dolls house, furniture displays and much more.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities.

This is an event not to be missed.

Doors will open at 10.30am. Adult entry is €5 and children can attend for free.
