A family business built on hard work and reliability
OVER 14 years ago, Mike Ahern Snr established Munster Tyre Recycling and since then it has gone on to gain a solid reputation within the Waste Tyre Industry for reliability, flexibility and high standards. After attending a waste conference in County Louth 15 years ago, Mike and his son (also Mike) saw real potential in the industry and from there Munster Tyre Recycling was formed. Prior to the business starting out, there was no other tyre recycling facility in this part of Kerry, with stock piles becoming more visible.
“Fast forward to the present and having built the business, hired employees and built up customer relationships, it is a hardworking team that helps to make the business the success it is today. Munster Tyre Recycling now has a fleet of vans and trucks on the road today collecting the waste tyres,” said Mike Snr.
Munster Tyre Recycling is proud of its progression and the legacy of the business is something that is used to encourage it in its future efforts to provide customers with the best service available. “It’s true of any business that you must give the customer what they want and also provide a reliable and professional service. This is something we have strived for ever since the business started,” added Mike Jr. “Customer service and rapport is vital to the success of M.T.R. Overall, it’s down to our hardworking staff. It’s the team effort that makes Munster Tyre Recycling what it is. We intend to carry this effort forward in the future for our customers.”
