KNOCKNAGREE KNOWS HOW TO PARTY!
OH what a night after the Knocknagree GAA Does Lip Sync Again battle drew a massive response with some of the best boy and girl bands in the company of household individual acts and groups at the INEC in Killarney.
Thrilled organisers described the event as a “massive success” with up to 500 people attending in Killarney. Hosts Knocknagree GAA brought their secrets of their onfield success to the stage and it met with an overwhelming response from the public.
Club Chairman Jeremiah Moynihan spoke of another marvellous year for the club and community both on and off the field. “We have had great days out between the Mayor of Knocknagree campaign to winning the County Intermediate Football Championship. This success does not come easy so I want to thank all our volunteers that put their time and effort into the club”, he said.
“We have made a big effort in fundraising over recent years that will boost club development and I would like to pay tribute to everyone for helping and supporting the various events that took place.
“I want to thank all the participants for their time and commitment they have given to lip sync, it has been a very enjoyable few weeks working with them”, said Jeremiah.
The Pink Ladies Elaine O’Leary and Katelynn O’Keeffe took home the trophy as they were crowned the winners of the night for an outstanding performance.
Each act was sponsored by local businesses that helped generate income for the successful staging.
