Kevin O’Sullivan

The death occurred on January 26 at Youghal and District Nursing Home, Gortroe, of Kevin O’Sullivan, Youghal, and formerly of Fermoy.

The late Kevin was a popular member of the local community. His popularity was borne out in the large and represente­d attendance that was present at Egan’s Funeral Home Greencloyn­e on Monday evening at the Prayers.

There was also a fine gathering for the Service the following day. Interment took place to Kilcrumper Old Cemetery.

To his wife, Linda; sister, Carol-Ann; relatives; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Nora Browne

The death occurred on January 29 at Limerick University Hospital of Nora Browne (née Mehigan), Ballyvelic­k, Castletown­roche.

The late Nora was predecease­d by her husband, Johnny.

She was a very well known and liked person who had been in Maria Goretti Nursing Home, Kilmallock, prior to being moved to the University Hospital in Limerick.

There was a very large and represente­d attendance at the Funeral on Friday evening in Hannon’s Funeral Home Doneraile to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castletown­roche.

There was also a full gathering at her Requiem Mass on Saturday.

Interment took place to the local cemetery.

To her daughter, Liz; sons, Sean, Ownie and Richard; grandchild­ren; great-grandchild­ren; brother, John; sisters, Maureen and Peggy; son-in-law; daughters-in-law; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; relatives and a large circle of friends, including those in Maria Goretti Nursing Home Kilmallock, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Ita O’Donovan

The death occurred on January 30 at St Lukes Home, Boreenaman­na Road, Cork of Ita O’Donovan (née O’Doherty), Boreenaman­na Road, Cork, and formerly of Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Ita was in her 103rd year. She was predecease­d by her husband, Dan.

There was a large attendance at the Prayers on Tuesday in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinloug­h, and the Requiem Mass.

Interment took place to St Finbarr’s Cemetery.

To her daughters, Carmel,

Marian, Denise, Ita and Claire; sons-in-law, Michael, Larry, Denis and Michael; 13 grandchild­ren; 21 great-grandchild­ren; nephews; nieces; relatives; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Fanahan O’Leary

The death occurred unexpected­ly on January 28 of Fanahan O’Leary, Midleton Downs, Midleton, and formerly of Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Fanahan was aged 72.

He was a very popular member of the community both in Midleton and Mitchelsto­wn. He was a keen golfer.

His popularity was borne out in the very large and represente­d attendance that was present for his Funeral and Service at Tommy Wallis’s Funeral Home, Midleton, on Thursday night.

Cremation took place at the Island Crematoriu­m, Rocky Island, Ringaskidd­y on Friday.

To his wife, Pat (née Smyth); daughters, Edel and Gillian; son-in-law, Jason; grandchild­ren, Finn, Isla, Sadhbh and Aoibhe; brothers, Tony and Coleman; sisters, Brenda, Mary, Ann and Kay; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; relatives; neighbours; and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
