Kilworth’s Dunne in semi-final action against Limerick’s Neville

ANOTHER busy week in the handball courts as the adult 40x20 Munster championsh­ip swings into action while at juvenile level 40x20 provincial Boys and Girls semi finals are down for decision this weekend.

At adult level Cork’s schedule for the coming week gets underway on Friday with Ladies Junior B Singles semi-final down for decision at Kilworth 8pm with Kilworth player Anna Dunne playing Limerick’s Clodagh Neville in Ladies Junior B Singles semi-final.

Saturday will be a busy day for Cork players who are involved at five different venues, commencing with Mallow venue at 12.30 in Under-21 Doubles quarter-final Mallow pair Conor Walsh/Cian O’Driscoll play Clare Darragh Burke/Mark Crehan.

On to Tipperary venue Dolla on Saturday it hosts a double header 1pm start with Cork players involved in both, programme opens with Junior B Doubles in which Kilworth pair Oisin Hickey/Tim Dunne play Tipperary Niall Quinn/ Gerry Foley. In the second game Masters B Doubles quarter-final Glenville pair Patrick Buckley/Noel Manley take on Tipperary’s Kieran Timmons/Michael Carmody.

In Broadford on Saturday another 1pm start they host another double header with Cork players involved in both starting with Junior Doubles quarter-final in which Dale Cusack, Mallow, teams up with Jamie O’Donnell, Fermoy, they play Limerick pair Evan Murphy/Shane Murphy. The second game in Broadford is Over 35 B Doubles quarter Final in which Kilworth pair John Horgan/James Moakley take on Limerick pair Sean Murphy/Anthony Donnelly.

Finally on Saturday Cappagh venue host two Munster Singles Finals with a 5pm start, beginning with intermedia­te Singles Final in which Mallow player David Walsh will play Clare Fergal Coughlan, Jnr. The second final on the Cappagh programme Silver Masters A Singles, Ballydesmo­nd player Denis Quinn will play Limerick Paul

Hedderman. On Sunday Mallow will host a double header 1.30pm start opening with Ladies Junior B Singles Final in which Conna player Aoife Hurley plays the winner of Anna Dunne. Kilworth v Clodagh Neville, Limerick.

The second final at Mallow is Golden Masters B Singles in which Philip O’Carroll, Ballydesmo­nd plays Tipperary Paul Maher. On Tuesday at Boherbue 7.30 start in Junior Doubles quarter-final, Tim Breen, Boherbue, teams up with Denis Quinn, Ballydesmo­nd, to play Tipperary Aidan O’Flaherty/ Liam Bradshaw.

At Nenagh with a 12 noon start the following semi-finals will be played Girls U-16 Doubles: Cork (Sarah Walsh/Cliona Dunning) v Tipperary (Hannah Grace/Leanne Gould), Girls U-15 Singles: Cork (Noreen Doody) v Tipperary (Emma Williams), Boys U-17 Singles: Cork (Dan Sheahan) v Tipperary (John Ryan), Boys U-17 Doubles: Cork (Evan Enright/ Cathal Ducey) v Tipperary (Nathan Lenihan/Stephen Coffey), Girls U-15 Doubles: Cork (Aoidhbe Ducey/Edel Murphy) v Tipperary (Danielle Kyne/Cassandra Jones), Girls U-14 Doubles: Cork (Carmel Kelleher/Leah O Riordan) v Tipperary (Ali Kelly/Lucy Gould).

At Kilcolman 12 noon start the following semi-finals are down for decision Boys U-14 Singles Cork (Cameron O’Sullivan) v Tipperary (Charlie Grace) or Limerick (Colin Quish), Boys U-15 Singles: Cork (Colin Brosnan) v Tipoerary (Evan Carey), Boys U16 Singles: Cork (Shane O’Riordan) v Tipperary (Brian Bourke), Boys U-16 Doubles; Cork (Hayden Supple/ Eoghan Daly) v Tipperary (Shane O’Connell/Liam Molloy).

At Cashel 1pm start following semi-finals will be played Boys U-15 Doubles: Cork (Nathan Sheehan/Donal Murphy) v Tipperary (Anthony Walsh/David McGrath), Boys U-14 Doubles: Cork (Tomas O’Connor/Cian Dunning) v Tipperary (Conal Moloney/Eoghan Dunne).
