Denis O’Dwyer

The death occurred on April 30 of Denis O’Dwyer, Ballybrien, Ballylande­rs, at his residence after a long illness bravely borne.

The late Denis, in his late 60s, was very well known. He was employed at Mitchelsto­wn Creameries up to his retirement.

In his younger days he played hurling with Glenroe. He was a very popular in his local area.

In accordance with Government advice and HSE guidelines in relation to public gatherings, a private Funeral from his home in Ballybrien to the local Church for Mass was held on Saturday. Interment took place to the local cemetery.

To his wife, Geraldine (née Lyons); sons, Gerald and Eamonn; daughters, Denise and Aine; son-in-law, John; grandchild­ren, Saoirse and Jacob; brothers; sisters; nephews; nieces; extended family; kind neighbours and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Annie Browne

The death occurred on April 24 in Sydney, Australia, of Annie Browne after a short illness.

The late Annie was formerly of Doneraile. She was a member of a well-known family in the Doneraile area. Her Funeral was held privately in Sydney Australia,

Patrick ‘Patsy’ Casey

The death occurred on May l of Patrick (Patsy) Casey, Skeheenari­nky, Burncourt, at Willowbroo­k Nursing Home.

The late Patsy was predecease­d by his wife, Betty (née Colbert).

In accordance with COVID-19 and the HSE restrictio­ns, Patsy’s Requiem Mass was held for family members only in Kilbehenny Church on Monday. Burial took place to the adjoining cemetery.

There will be a Memorial Mass at a later date in his memory.

To his daughter, Mary; son-in-law, Tony Murphy; grandchild­ren, Rebecca, Jack and Avril; nieces Susan and Sandra; sisters-in-law Carmel and Helen; relatives; neighbours; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

John O’Mahony

The death occurred at Cork University Hospital of John O’Mahony, Coolmona, Pike Road, Fermoy.

The late John was predecease­d by his wife, Mary. He was a very popular member of the local community.

In accordance with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral was held. A Memorial Mass to celebrate John’s life will be held at a later date.

To his mother, Mary Hurley (UK); cousins in Ireland and United Kingdom; the Kenneally, Jordan, Dolan, O’Mahony and Whealey families; his Godson Kyle; neighbours and loyal friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Billy O’Donovan

The death occurred on May 2 after an illness at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice of Billy O’Donovan, Doneraile Road, Castletown­roche.

The late Billy was very well known in his local area.

In line with Government advice and HSE regulation­s with regard to public gatherings, his Funeral was held in private.

To his sister, Kathleen Foley; brothers Tom, Davy and Patsy; brother-in-law Robert; sisterin-law Maureen; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Mary O’Regan

The death occurred on April 26 of Mary O’Regan (née Cooney) 5 The Terrace, Shanballym­ore, and formerly of Convamore, Ballyhooly.

The late Mary was predecease­d by her husband, Jimmy.

In accordance with HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health, Mary’s Funeral was held in private. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date in her memory.
