Community Council asks for public to support business

-

With restrictions eased, Millstreet Community Council is calling for the public to support the local community by spending money in it, shopping local and engage in business locally so that it can thrive and grow and offer better services.

Millstreet Community Council acknowledges the trojan work of the front-line staff of the hospital, medical surgeries, chemists, postmen, supermarkets, butchers, suppliers of petrol and diesel and to those who helped the community in a variety of ways.

“All served the community with good humour and smiles, even in the early days of this pandemic, before perspex protection and when nobody knew what to expect. They all deserve our unending gratitude and perhaps the best way that we can show this gratitude now is to Shop Local,” said Secretary Maura Kiely.
