Walsh Family delighted to reopen Springfort Hall Hotel

IT’S A CASE OF FORWARD TO THE PAST AT STATELY COUNTRY RETREAT

-

The Walsh Family were delighted to reopen Springfort Hall Country House Hotel on June, 29th after been closed for 14 weeks due to COVID-19.

The Walsh Family and their employees have been working hard behind the scenes over a number of weeks creating new dishes for their menus and implementing new protocols for the safety of both employees and customers.

In today’s ever–more stressed world don’t we sometimes yearn to return to a gentler, more gracious time? To a world of country houses and elegant manors, strolls in superbly landscaped grounds, drinks on the terrace and fine dining among friends in the most leisurely manner. You can still find it and not very far away.

Springfort Hall Country House Hotel, an 18th Century Manor House, tucked away on a spacious estate which dates back to the Norman Times, is only 6km from Mallow but to enter its gates is to leave behind the noise and the bustle of today and rediscover the delights of leisured living. It’s a positive haven of peace and quiet, kept that way by the long-established Walsh Family whose only concern is to see that each and every visitor – whether staying for a month or dropping in for a drink - is treated as a welcome and honoured guest.

Springfort Hall Country marked their reopening by inviting Alan Finn from The Shandrum Ceili Band to play some Tunes. Two business groups that Springfort Hall joined last year, The North Cork Business Alliance and The Local Business Networking Group, also joined in the celebrations.

The North Cork Business Alliance was set up as a referral network for business people in the North Cork region and meets weekly to exchange referrals, support each other and to benefit from shared knowledge.

The Local Business Networking Group was set up in 2012 by Pat O’Hara (photography & videographer) and Maria O’Donoghue (Office Assist) with the aim of networking with businesses in the locality.

The LBNG is a non-profit making networking and business support group where businesses in Charleville and the surrounding areas have an opportunity to meet fortnightly. The group consists of sole traders, trades people, company representatives,

SME’s and professional services

The Management and staff of Springfort Hall Country House Hotel are really looking forward to Welcoming back their customers over the next few weeks.
