John Kelly

The death occurred of John Kelly, Greystones, Ballincoll­ig on July 8

The late John was a native of King Street, Mitchelsto­wn. He was very well known locally. In accordance with Government guidelines in relation to public gatherings, his Funeral was held in private. To his wife, Bernie (née Kennedy); daughter, Niamh; grandchild­ren, Esme and Rowan; sister, Margaret (Casey), Ballygibli­n; son-in-law, James; nephews; nieces; the Connolly family; relatives; neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

John Buckley

The death occurred at Cork University Hospital on July 10 of John

Buckley, 4 Glenview Convent Road, Doneraile, and formerly of Donoughmor­e, County Cork.

The late John was a very popular member of the local community. In accordance with Government guidelines in relation to public gatherings, John’s Funeral was held in private.

To his wife, Bernie; daughter, Christina; sons, Denis, John and David; grandchild­ren, Kyle, Kenny, Stacey (Dolly), Susie, Tiffany, and James; his father, Davie Buckley; brothers; sisters; sisters-in-law; brothers-inlaw; nephews; nieces; relatives; kind neighbours and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

William ‘Bill’ Lomasney

The death occurred on July 10 of

William (Bill) Lomasney, Fermoy, and formerly of Shanbally, Cobh.

The late Bill was in his 98th year. He was a former employee of Naval Dockyard (Haulbowlin­e).

In accordance with Government guidelines, William’s Funeral was held in private in Fermoy.

To his wife, Esther; daughter, Avril; son-in-law, Tom; nephews; niece; relatives; neighbours; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.

Patrick Murphy

The death occurred on July 1, suddenly, of Patrick Murphy, Flemingsto­wn, Ballindang­an, Mitchelsto­wn, and Cape Cod, Massachuse­tts, USA at his home in Cape Cod.

The late Patrick was well known in hos local area. Funeral arrangemen­ts will follow at a later date.

The death occurred suddenly on

July 8 at Cork University Hospital of Stephen McDonagh, Grange, Fermoy; Brittas, Dublin and formerly of Shrule, County Mayo.

The late Stephen, in his mid 60s, was a farrier by occupation and was well-known locally.

In accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s in relation to public gatherings (COVIDSteph­en’s Funeral service was held in Kilcrumper New Cemetery on Friday.
