NELLIE HAUGH R.I.P.

THE death took place at Nazareth House on Tuesday, December 15 of Nellie Haugh.

Formerly of Bathview, Fair Street, Nellie celebrated her 105th birthday recently. She worked for many years at St. Stephen’s Hospital Glanmire.

Nellie is survived by her loving nieces Maureen, Birdie, Eilkeen and Liz, nephew Tom, extended family, neighbours and friends, Requiem Mass was celebrated at 11.30am on Thursday, December 17 followed by burial at St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

To her relations we express our deepest sympathy.

NOEL FEEHAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Wednesday, December 16 at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice of Noel Feehan from Ozanam House, New Road.

Late of the Irish Embassy, London, Noel is predecease­d by his parents Tadhg and Joan (nèe Buckley) and survived by son Daniel, sister Maureen ( Williams) (Eugene, Oregon, U.S.A.), relations and friends. Noel’s funeral was held privately.

MICHAEL DAVID NOONAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Thursday, December 17 of Michael David Noonan at his home in Shortcastl­e Rise.

He is predecease­d by his father Billy and survived by his mother Josephine, brother of Shelley, Jojo, Shauna and Karina family and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 12.30pm on Monday, December 21 followed by Cremation.

MARY CLARE O’SULLIVAN (NÈE COUGHLAN) R.I.P.

THE death took place at Aperee Nursing Home, Churchtown of Mary Clare O’Sullivan on Saturday, December 19.

From Gouldshill and late of Scart, Bantry, Mary is predecease­d by her daughter Claire and sister Patricia (Brady) and survived by her husband Jerry, sons Dermot and Brendan, daughters Geraldine, Evelyn and Valerie, brothers Joseph and Denis, sisters Kathleen (Keller). Elizabeth (Kirby), Ann (Crotty), Carmel (Cronin) and Gretta (Plant), relations, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Ballyheada at 12 noon on Monday, December 21.

DOLORES DEE DEMPSEY (NÈE O’BRIEN) R.I.P.

THE death took place on Monday, December 21 of Dolores Dempsey of Rockbrook Lawn and formerly of Ballincoll­ig.

Dolores is survived by her husband Rob, daughters Chloe and Jess, brothers Victor, Jason and Colm, relatives and friends. Dolores’s Funeral was held privately.

SHEELAGH BARRY (NÈE DUGGAN ) R.I.P.

THE death took place of Shellagh Barry at her home at Bachelors Walk on Wednesday, January 6.

A native of Newmarket, Shellagh is predecease­d by her husband Denis and survived by her sons Don, Dave and Brendan, daughter Mary (Buckley), relations, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 11.30am on Friday, January 8 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

PADRAIG PAW SHEEHAN R.I.P.

THE unexpected death took place of Padraig Sheehan on Thursday, January 7.

Padraig from O’Keeffe’s Walk, is predecease­d by his brother Karl and survived by his parents Patsy and Ann, brothers Daniel and Michael, sisters Amanda, Elizabeth, Andrea and Vivienne, relations, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 1pm on Saturday, January 9 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

THE death took place on Tuesday, January 5 at Cork UNiversity Hospital of Dave Curry of Powerscour­t.

From a well known Shanballym­ore family, Dave is predecease­d by his wife Helen (nèe Lehane) son Michael and baby Martina and survived by his sons John, David and Brendan, daughter Mary, brother Michael, sister Bridget, relations and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, January 12 in St. Craebhnait’s Church, Annakisha followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
