THE LATE AILBE (ALICE) TWOMEY (NEE (FENTON)

The death occurred on February 9 at Amberley Nursing Home Fermoy of Ailbe (Alice) Twomey Nee (Fenton) Kilcor Castlelyon­s and formerly of Tenniscart Aglish Co Waterford. The late Alice was well known locally she was predecease­d by her husband Jerry. Her funeral was held in private in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19) Requiem Mass for the late Alice was held on Friday. To her daughters Pearl (Dee) Betty (Darcy) son Austin brothers in law, sisters in law, relatives neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE PEGGY POWER (NEE O’SULLIVAN)

The death occurred on February 9 of Peggy Power, 19 Mitchel St. Dungarvan and formerly of Kilworth. The late Peggy (Nee O’Sullivan) was well known in the Kilworth area being a member of a well known family. She was predecease­d by her husband Seamus. Her funeral was held in private in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19). Funeral Mass was held in St Mary’s Church Dungarvan on Friday. To her sons Michael, Garry, daughters Teresa, Alice, Ann Marie, Noelle, Eleanor, brothers, sisters grandchild­ren, sons in law, nephew, nieces, extended family and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MAURICE CONNOLLY

The death occurred on February 10 at Limerick University Hospital of Maurice Connolly, Knockhill, Ennis Road, Limerick and formerly of Kilbehenny, Mitchelsto­wn. The late Maurice was predecease­d by his wife Peig, and up to his retirement was employed at Aer Rianta Shannon. His funeral was held in private in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19). Requiem Mass was held in the Church of Christ the King, Caherdavin on Monday with burial to Kilmurry Cemetery. To his son Ger daughter Rene, daughter in law Mary, grandson Edward and his wife Breda, grandchild­ren Tom, Maria, Freddie sister in law, nieces, nephews and their families, neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MICHAEL (MIKE) CARROLL

The death occurred peacefully at Cork University Hospital on February 12 of Michael (Mike) Carroll, Cullenagh, Fermoy. The late Mike was well known locally. His funeral was held in private in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19) Requiem Mass was held in Fermoy Parish Church on Sunday. To his mother Bridie, brother Gerard, sisters Marian, Eileen brother in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles relatives, neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MARGARET (PEGGY) O’SULLIVAN

The death occurred on February 12 at her residence Carragane Mitchelsto­wn of Margaret (Peggy) O’Sullivan, (Nee Lane). The late Peggy was in her 9lst year. She was predecease­d by her husband Edmund (Ned). She was a popular member of the Kilbehenny Community.

Her funeral was held in private on Sunday with Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church Kilbehenny with burial to the Church Grounds. To her sons Eddie, John, Mossie, Martin, Michael, Con, Paddy, daughters in law Sandra, Helen, Aine, Michelle, Mary, Yvonne, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, sister in law, nieces, nephew, relatives neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE GABRIELLE HESKIN (NEE (SMIDDY)

The death occurred on February 10 at her residence of Gabrielle Heskin, Kilclough, Kilworth and formerly of Beanfield, Youghal. The late Gabrielle was predecease­d by her husband Alec. Her funeral was held in private in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19) Funeral Mass was held in St. Martin’s Church Kilworth on Friday with burial to Kilcrumper Old Cemetery.

To her daughters Teresa (O’Driscoll), Margaret, Barbara (Henry) Cora, Mary (Blackburne) son Denis sister Margaret (O’Keeffe) grandchild­ren: Alex, Roisin, Mark, Owen, Katie, Maria, Anna, Lucia, Gill, Una, David and Gabrielle, grandchild­ren, sons in law P. THE LATE JOAN McCARTHY (NEE KEOHANE)

The death occurred on February 11 suddenly of Joan McCarthy (Nee Keohane) The Square Kilworth at Cluain Dara, Fermoy.

The late Joan was predecease­d by her husband Tim.

She was a member of a very popular family in Kilworth village. Her funeral was held in private in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19).

Her Requiem Mass was held on Monday in St. Martin’s Church Kilworth with burial to Kilcrumper New Cemetery.

To her sons Jimmy, John, daughter Mary ( Whelan) sister Sr. Catherine, son in law Paddy, daughters in law Dolores, Maura, sister grandchild­ren Niamh, Orla, Christina, Joanne, James, Aoibhe, Katie, Liam. great grandchild­ren : Olann, Tadhg, Grace, Cobi, Darcy, Lachlann, Fionn, nephews, niece, relatives neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE HELEN CRONIN (NEE NOONAN)

The death occurred on February 11 of Helen Cronin at St Anthony’s Unit Clonmel. The late Helen was of 24 Kingston College Mitchelsto­wn and formerly of Annesgrove, Castletown­roche.

Her funeral was held privately in accordance with Government guidelines and HSE regulation­s regarding public gatherings (Covid 19). Cremation took place on Tuesday at Shannon Crematoriu­m.

To her sons Sean, Michael, grandchild­ren Isla, Joseph, sisters Elizabeth Challis, Joan Herlihy, sons their father Joseph Cronin, grandchild­ren, sisters nephews, nieces, relatives fellow residentsd and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
