Bounty to support GAA club development
MILLSTREET GAA is actively pursuing Rebels’ Bounty, Cork GAA’s new fundraising initiative to support Cork players, clubs and county. The initiative offers a total prize fund of €500,000, with one lucky club member set to win €100,000.
Proceeds from the Rebels Bounty supports facilities at the Millstreet GAA Station Road Development. To date, Station Road has been an invaluable assistance to both Millstreet Juvenile and Adult GAA Clubs and Millstreet Camogie Club.
Plans over the coming three years include improving the playing surface on main pitch and training pitch, improve floodlighting and construction of a hurling wall.
The long term goal is to make the facilities a valuable resource that benefits every member of the community.
Rebels’ Bounty aims to give clubs an opportunity to raise funds at a time when fundraising has been impacted by Covid-19 restrictions.
From the prize fund there are 30 cash prizes ranging from €20,000 to €100 in every monthly draw, with a top prize of €100,000 in the December draw.
With many traditional fundraising efforts remaining in doubt due to restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Millstreet GAA is hopeful that current subscribers will retain their subscription in the draw.
And with highly attractive prizes on offer, newcomers are welcome to join the draw, the cost of entry is €100 and one can sign up online at www.gaacork.ie/rebelsbounty or contact Millstreet GAA Club Treasurer Con Healy.
Millstreet GAA is encouraging club members, supporters and the public to purchase a Rebel Bounty ticket.
