HOLY WEEK AND EASTER CEREMONIES

The celebration of Holy Week continues in St.Mary’s Church, Castlemagner on Holy Thursday with Evening Mass Of The Lord’s Supper at 7.30 pm. All new and continuing Ministers of Holy Communion are asked to attend a short ceremony of installation or renewal during this mass. Ministers are asked to take the reserved places towards the front of the Church. Trócaire boxes are to be handed in at the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper or given to the sacristan over the Easter weekend.

Stations of the cross will be held in Castlemagner Church on Good Friday at 7.30 pm. The Annual Collection for the Shrines of the Holy Land is taken up during Good Friday.

The Solemn Celebration of the Easter Vigil will be held in Castlemagner Church on Easter Saturday Night at 7.30 pm. Candles with holders will be provided for the Easter Vigil. Easter offerings for the Priests will be taken up on Holy Saturday night. Your support and generosity are very much appreciated.

Mass of The Lord’s Resurrection will be celebrated in Castlemagner Church on Easter Sunday Morning at 9.00 am.

Mass will be celebrated on Easter Tuesday, 2nd of April at 9.30 am in Castlemagner Church.

There will be a choir for Holy Thursday night, Easter Saturday Night and Easter Sunday morning. As many choir members as possible are asked to join and help in enriching the celebrations.

SINSIR CLUB

Castlemagner Sinsir Club will resume its Thursday programme on Thursday 11th of April after the Easter recess.
