Google’s street view to retain political slant

GOOGLE sent its cars out to map Ireland during the last general election with the result that its cutting-edge ‘street view’ shows election posters hanging from all our lamp-posts...

Four years later and it is updating its ‘street view’ once more during an election.

With mapping set to take a few months, we can only hope that many posters will have been pulled down from our streets so visitors don’t think we’re in a permanent state of political turmoil.
