And they called it puppy love... Roz’s new beau follows her lead

- By Niamh Walsh

ROZ PURCELL is certainly having a ‘paw-some’ end to 2016; she has found love again with dashing businessman Zach Desmond, her book Natural Born Feeder was shortlisted for a book of the year award, and she has maintained her position as Ireland’s top model.

Now dog lover Rozanna is enjoying yet another positive development: Zach has adopted a pet beagle, who is already best friends with Roz’s rescue pooch, Willy.

Roz adopted Willy earlier this year from the DSPCA when she was still dating singer RESCUE: Roz and Zach, right, have pooches, left, that are friends Bressie. After the split, Roz took full custody of the dog.

Roz and Willy became inseparable; the dog was even ‘papped’ one day as Roz strolled through Dublin in the aftermath of the break-up.

Now Zach has also gone to the shelter in Rathfarnham and adopted a beagle called Roo, completing the cute foursome.

Beagles are known as high energy canines and need a lot of exercise – so Roo will settle in well with Roz and Zach, who are both fitness fanatics.

Roo is a rescue puppy and is understood to be from a recent consignment of dogs saved by the DSPCA as they were being smuggled out of the country.

In addition to helping Zach house train his dog, Roz has a busy few months ahead.

As we revealed last month, the budding businesswoman is gearing up to launch her first ethically sourced beauty product.

Combining her brains and beauty with an ambition to match, the former Miss Universe Ireland is intent on building a brand empire.
