SUPERSTAR Conor McGregor has taken a beating from fans over his plans to bring flash supercars to our motorways and pothole-strewn roads.
Fans took to social media to rain down punches on the flamboyant fighter after he revealed that he is teaming up with luxury car dealers HR Owen to sell the expensive motors to Ireland’s wealthiest.
The 28-year-old champ made the announcement earlier this week after taking delivery of a matte green Lamborghini Huracan Avio, which costs in the region of €200,000.

But his big announcement didn’t have the desired knockout effect and McGregor was sucker-punched by thousands of caustic comments from fans.
One fan pointed out that our potholeridden country roads don’t exactly make for good driving conditions.
They said: ‘You need to sort out our roads first Conor. You couldn’t drive that around Cork County. It would be in s**t. You’ll see a lot more of ’em going around up on the back of recovery trucks alright.’
Ironically, just a day after Conor was given such sage advice, his precious Huracan was pictured loaded onto a tow truck.
But luckily for the multimillionaire he had a fleet of flash cars to choose from as backup. McGregor has splashed out nearly €2m on a range of supercars, both here and in Las Vegas. He also owns a Lamborghini Aventador, which costs more than €500,000.
The UFC fighter also drives a €110,000 BMW 730D when he is in Ireland, as well as a plush Range Rover for shopping sprees around Dublin’s city centre.
