Vogue’s TV show drops Spencer

-

VOGUE Williams’s latest RTÉ offering, which will explore the subject of mental health, will not feature her new man Spencer Matthews, despite him originally being lined up as a contributor.

Presenter Vogue, 31, is currently filming the second instalment of Vogue On The Edge; RTÉ will air the three-part docu-series on the issue of mental health later this year.

In the programme, Vogue will chat to a number of experts in the field of mental health and will take part in exercises and group classes aimed at tackling anxiety and other mental health problems.

As late as this week, the show included a segment in which Vogue chats with reality star Spencer Matthews. But RTÉ now says that ‘Spencer will not appear in the series.’

In a script seen by the MoS, Spencer was due to give his input on the topic – but he was apparently dumped from the running order this week.

‘We talk to a lot of contributors,’ said the spokesperson.

Vogue herself has previously spoken about her own personal battles with anxiety. In the RTÉ programme, Vogue will talk to Professor Jim Lucey, medical director of St Patrick’s Mental Health Services, who describes the issues facing people suffering from the disease.

She will also take part in group OCD yoga class and touch on other ways in which people are dealing with anxiety and their mental health in general.
