Will the hosts’ outfits even pass the taste test?

WHILE Bake Off’s spectacular creations are a feast for the eyes, they will surely be eclipsed by the hosts’ eye-catching taste in clothes. Noel’s dress sense veers towards the surreal, with trademark vivid coats and many zany one-offs – he wore a fetching red minidress, gold boots and a blonde wig to turn on the Christmas lights at Stella McCartney’s London store. Sandi, too, is hard to miss, despite being only 5ft tall. She makes up for her lack of stature by favouring brightly coloured jackets and trouser suits. She admits that losing four stone – she dropped from dress size 22 to a more svelte 12 – gave her the confidence to move from radio to TV.

Noel, much taller at 5ft 11ins, also lost a stone to play rocker Alice Cooper in a Sky TV show.
