Zip it on Leo’s stylish coat
SPEAKING of suits, there was rather bizarre criticism of Taoiseach Leo Varadkar because he had the audacity to wear a rather expensive coat during the week while on a walkabout in Wexford meeting those who suffered through the snow. People Before Profit TD Bríd Smith led the charge complaining there was ‘one winter for the rich, another for the poor’. There may be no real privacy being a Taoiseach but, no more than any female politician, Varadkar should be allowed to wear what he wants in public without being the target of faux outrage about the cost of his jacket for cheap political point scoring.
