TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR CLIENTS OF iD MOBILE

Customers of soon-to-bedefunct mobile phone firm iD Mobile have been told to switch to some of the great Sim-only deals on the market.

These start from €10 a month and can include surprisingly high call and data allowances. iD is going into liquidation and any customer who doesn’t switch to a new provider before April 6 will be left without service.

They also risk being unable to keep the same phone number going forward.

‘We’ve also already seen Eir offering a new plan exclusively for iD customers, and it’s possible other providers will follow suit,’ said Eoin Clarke, the managing director of Switcher.ie.
