Halle launches Hallewood to rival Paltrow’s website Goop
OSCAR-winning actress Halle Berry has launched Hallewood, a ‘wellness’ website to rival Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, it was announced last week.
The 51-year-old mother-of-two seems not to have aged – or put on a pound – since emerging from the ocean in that famous orange bikini beach scene, right, in the 007 film Die Another Day in 2002.
She claims her ultra-low-carb ketogenic diet is responsible for ‘slowing down my ageing process’ and, bizarrely, curing her of type 1 diabetes.
Those with the disease must take insulin for life.
Yet Halle says: ‘I’ve now managed to wean myself off insulin.’ Experts dispute that this is possible and say it would be dangerous to follow her lead.
