No Striking Out for star Amy as she keeps Finding Joy

THE abysmal reviews for Striking Out, the RTÉ flop where Amy Huberman played a family law solicitor doesn’t seem to have dented Amy’s small screen bankability. The station’s golden girl has landed her dream job, writing and starring in her very own comedy series for RTÉ. Finding Joy is the name of the show and it’s billed as a romp about singleton Joy’s painful break-up and search for love.

If Amy was a regular actress or writer there would be a lot hanging on this star vehicle. But, for some curious reason, Amy seems immune from the normal rules of showbiz – her star keeps on shining despite the occasional disasters.
